Terms
Terms of Service
The rules for using the ForgedLife app, the church console, and this website. Short sections, plain words.
Last updated: September 2026
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and ForgedLife covering the ForgedLife app for iPhone and iPad, the church console at admin.theforged.life, and this website (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
The privacy policy explains what we collect and who can see it. It is part of these terms.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the app. You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your profile includes your gender, which the app uses to keep men's and women's groups, challenges and partners separate. Misrepresenting it to get into a group you should not be in is a violation of these terms.
3. Acceptable use
Use the service the way it is meant to be used: to track your own habits, run challenges with people you know, and take part in your church's study. Do not:
- Harass, threaten, or demean anyone, in chat, on a prayer wall, or anywhere else.
- Post content that is sexual, hateful, violent, or illegal.
- Share someone else's prayer requests or private messages outside the group they were posted in.
- Impersonate another person, a church, or ForgedLife.
- Use another person's invite code, church code, or account to gain access you were not given.
- Probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its data.
- Use the service for commercial solicitation or spam.
Group leaders and church admins may remove people from groups they run. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules.
4. Content you post
Prayer requests, chat messages, partner messages, profile photos and challenge names are yours. You keep ownership. By posting them you give us permission to store them, sync them, and show them to the people they are addressed to: the members of that group, or your partner. We do not publish your content anywhere else and we do not use it for advertising.
Content in a group stays with the group. If you leave a group or delete your account, what you already posted may remain visible to that group as coming from a removed member.
You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.
5. Church licenses
A church license lets a church run church studies from the console. A license is:
- Annual. It runs for one year from the start date and renews only when the church renews it.
- Per church. One license covers one church and its code. Multisite churches need a multisite license.
- Non-transferable. It cannot be assigned, resold, or shared with another church.
While the license is active, the church can create campaigns and groups without limit on leaders or members. When the license ends, existing groups keep running and members keep their history. The church cannot create new campaigns or groups until it renews. Fees are as quoted to the church in writing and are not refundable once a study has started.
The church's admin is responsible for who is made a leader or admin at that church and for how those people use the console.
6. No medical, financial or legal advice
ForgedLife is a habit and accountability tool. Fitness tasks are suggestions, not a program prescribed for you. Check with a doctor before starting anything strenuous.
Finance Academy is educational. It teaches general financial principles. It is not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Talk to a licensed professional about your own situation.
Devotionals, study content and scripture references are offered for personal and group study. They are not counseling.
7. Our content
The app, the console, the ForgedLife name and anvil mark, the task library, Finance Academy lessons and quizzes, and the studies as presented in the app belong to ForgedLife or its licensors. You may use them inside the service. You may not copy, resell or redistribute them.

8. Termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy for how). We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, harms other users, or creates legal risk for us. Where we can, we will tell you why. A church license can be ended for the same reasons; fees already paid are not refunded in that case.
9. No warranty
The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be available at all times, free of errors, or right for your particular purpose. Streaks, points and ranks are records inside the app, and we may correct them when something has gone wrong.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, ForgedLife is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you or your church paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred dollars if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you agree to that venue.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for changes that matter, tell you in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
